The Cicadas are coming!
Today we heard our first cicada sing his song from the trees. It must be around 28 Celsius and dry conditions for the bugs to make the exodus up a tree and start their musical chirping that becomes such a big part of the Provencal summer. Some people hate their chirping, I find it hypnotic........

Les Temps des Cerisiers
It's Cherry season here in the Luberon. The branches on the cherry trees are heavy with juicy red fruit. This is the first year that we can actually harvest a big bowl of cherries from our very own trees. I am also surveying our almond trees to make sure that the fruit advances without any damage from our bug friends. So far, so good.

Last Image of Greece
Our boutique hotel is full of hipster English tourists. All mid thirties with adorable loving outfits only an English girl could wear. This particular woman has been hanging out the pool in the same dress combo for the past three days. I could not take my eyes off her outfit in a weird 'touch it to make the pain feel oh, so good' kind of way.
I think it is time to leave Mykonos, Greece
